About Hewa

Who We Are

Health Education for Women in Africa (HEWA), formally established in 2024, is a  not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, dedicated to empowering women worldwide through accessible health education. Inspired by the need to address the challenges women face in accessing vital health resources and knowledge, HEWA operates in Africa and has expanded its reach globally. The organization works tirelessly to ensure that every woman, regardless of her location or socioeconomic status, can lead a long, healthy, and fulfilling life.

Our vision is achieved by providing women with evidence-based information about their reproductive health, fostering open dialogue, and creating supportive communities. HEWA works to bridge the gap between medical professionals and communities, ensuring information is accessible and understandable for all.

“Our vision is achieved by providing women with evidence-based information about their reproductive health, fostering open dialogue, and creating supportive communities.”
